Black Cedar is proud to receive a 2014 Musical Grant from the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music. With this honor, Black Cedar will release their debut commercial CD release in May 2016, featuring two newly commissioned trios, an American work that was previously unrecorded, plus a beautiful gem that has been unavailable for almost thirty years:
Miscellaneous Music (2015) by Durwynne Hsieh, commissioned by Black Cedar
Of Emblems (2014) by Garrett Shatzer, commissioned by Black Cedar
Hungarian Trio (2012) by Nathan Kolosko
Debussyana (1983) by Klaus Hinrich Stahmer
